How Pictomoney Began
HOW PICTOMONEY BEGAN
I donated this pastel by Richard Hall to Drexel University. It was in my family since
1935. The students took up a collection to pay for special glass to protect it from the
sun. It was appraised by Galman Lepow Associates, Inc. 1879 Old Cuthbert Road #12,
Cherry Hill, NJ 08034 856-354-0771. The portrait, dated 1895, is of famous French writer
Victor Hugo and is proudly displayed in the conference room of one of the faculty at
Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA 19104.
